Hello Community Partners!
In this inaugural edition of Comcast’s Greater Boston Region Community Partner News Brief, we would like to share with you the newest updates to our Internet Essentials℠ nationwide program. The digital divide that is growing in our communities is challenging families we know and work with every single day. Comcast would like to work together with you as a nonprofit partner to close that divide, and offer families the technology they need to succeed in today’s society that they might otherwise not be able to afford.
Internet Essentials℠ is an ever-growing program that started with the offer of broadband service for only $9.95 per month for families with students who qualify for free lunch in our school systems. Now, Comcast would like to extend that offer to families with students who qualify for free or reduced school lunch with the goal to make the digital divide even smaller. On top of that, Comcast offers these families a computer at the low cost of $149.99 as well as access to free Internet training to provide them with the tools they need.
How can you help connect those you serve to this great program? As a nonprofit leader located in one of our communities, we are looking to you to help us reach the families that are eligible for Internet Essentials℠. We would like you, as an influential leader who touches many of those families every day, to be our partner in raising awareness for this important program.
We invite you to log on to our Internet Essentials℠ partner portal shown below. Please click the following link to sign on and help us reach out. In the partner portal, you will find hand-outs, banner ads, brochure inserts, bulletin board flyers, and much, much more.
