Google Doodles are spontaneous changes made to the Google logo in celebration holidays, anniversaries, and the lives of those who have helped shape history. Since 1998 over 2,000 different doodles have delighted Googlers all over the world! This year Google asks students in grades K-12 to creat a doodle based on the theme “If I Could Invent One Thing to Make the World a Better Place...”. The deadline to submit your doodle is March 21, 2014. To find out more visit: http://www.google.com/doodle4google/

One talented young artist will see his or her artwork on the Google homepage and receive a $30,000 college scholarship and a $50,000 Google for Education technology grant for his or her school.
